You will lead a clearly comprehensible dialogue with your anesthesiologist
concerning the possibilities and course of the anesthesia during your upcoming
surgery. In preparation, your medical history will be taken, a full body
examination will be performed, as well as blood laboratory tests, an
electrocardiogram (EKG) and if appropriate, an x-ray of your lungs.

The findings and medical history are the basis upon which the best
possible method of anesthesia will be determined individually. This preoperative
conversation will inform you about the anesthesia, will answer your questions
and address all possible concerns. It also gives us the opportunity to optimize
our regimen of blood sparing methods individually for you, which we recommend
for endoprosthetic surgical interventions. |
